Background
Nuon have been investigating the feasibility of a wind farm at Mynydd Waun Fawr over the past 3 years, undertaking detailed survey and assessment work. This process has involved working closely with expert consultants, key agencies and local residents. During this development work Nuon has been working hard to minimise the potential impacts of the proposal whilst maximising the benefits of clean renewable energy generation and carbon emission reduction.
Nuon has now submitted the planning application to Powys County Council, for a copy of the Environmental Statement please go to the downloads page.
