Project Status

A planning application for 6 wind turbines extension to the existing Parc Cynog wind farm was submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council on February 2nd 2006. The Environmental Statement accompanying the application can be viewed at Carmarthenshire County Council customer service centre, at 3 Spilman Street, Carmarthen or at Laugharne public Library, which is open on Tuesdays from 10.00am - 1.00pm and Fridays from 4.00pm - 7.00pm.

Following the decision by Carmarthenshire County Council on 19th July 2007 to approve the extension Nuon is now planning the next stage of completing agreements for equipment supply and construction.
