Next Steps

Swinford wind farm, which will see the erection of 11 turbines, was given the green light by John Denham, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, on 3rd December 2009, following a Public Inquiry between 14th and 31st July 2009.

Nuon is currently working towards discharging the relevant planning conditions and completing the turbine Invitation to Tender before construction can commence.
