Public Inquiry

Following a Public Inquiry which closed on 21st July 2010, Nuon Renewables awaits a decision from the Planning Inspector. The decision will be based on all presented evidence and is expected to be delivered during the week commencing 1st September 2010.

Grid Connection

Underground grid connection route has been identified by Central Networks. The Harrington Wind Farm can be connected to the electrical grid network south of Broughton via an underground cable route. The underground connection accords with the local community's feedback that they would like to avoid any further overhead cabling in the area.

Good news - Following Nuon's challenge to Daventry DC, the planning committee has officially withdrawn one of the two reasons which were given for refusal.
