Nuon Renewables is actively looking for landowners and farmers to partner on further wind projects throughout the UK. A wind farm offers landowners and farmers an opportunity to diversify and create an additional long term income supporting their stewardship of the land and enhancing the local economy.

The proposed wind farms are situated in strategic search areas E and F as identified by the Welsh Assembly Government for suitability of wind energy development. The projects will have a combined generation capacity of 300 MW. Nuon is aiming to submit planning applications for both sites in 2009. If the projects gain planning approval the wind farms could be delivering electricity to grid by 2013.
